Track Name: Catalyst: Past and Present
She was led by the force of a stone
To a disembodied man.
His eyes seemed to stare, as if compelled to,
As the earth asunder drove her below.

Awakened by the cries
Of a million throats diverged.
She awaits silence.
Finally satisfied, she would recognize light
Only to see things but seen by fabled eyes.

By the touch of its surface, a device was engaged.
Voices familiar to a heritage unknown
Spoke as the vault drew images in the air:

“The first encounter with the entity was met by loss of sanity.
Men and women sought hope in The Sun.
Two decades would pass before the beast would return.
They prayed to their Gods
Only to be denied eternal symmetry.
The few that remain would be endowed
By their faith and their spawn.”

The voices did relent,
But the images engraved her thoughts.
Projections of the destroyer’s resolve
Did derive insatiable curiosity.

Usurper
It is not;
Limitless
Train of thought.
Track Name: Prism of Naught
“The wise have known
All along but refuse to reveal the truth.
The prophets of profit have done well
To deceive them all.

There is no soul to repent
And no God to fear:
Born like the Sun
But not of Its will.”

She pitied them all.
To be the one
Who’d expose this fallacy
Would bleed her of all her pain.

There lay a man,
Battered by fear,
Scanning all the rocks and the stones,
Seeking a path leading to his salvation.
She grabbed him, and forced the beast
To reflect upon his eye.

Bifurcated his spine remains in her arms.
A Wiseman saw this, and blamed her for “all of this”.

Calm and composed,
She wiped some offal remains from her brow as she grinned;
Slowly turning to face the stars...

“I will show you a glimpse
Of what you may be.
(Of what you will become.)
So choose where you’ll reside”

“I’ll stay, I’ve just
Begun my hunt
For the lies.

There’s no escaping
This fate of our making.
There is no consequence
For what we must have undone”
Track Name: Through Spectral Paradigms
“Here in this solitary state
My questions beget nothing.”

A lonely enterprise of loathing:
Destroying an empty world,
Would bear a spiral of distractions
that would yield no resolutions.

She has wandered for years
Just leading insects to a path without structure.

“Listen to me.
You’ve found no paradise and still you try.
You’re lost and torn by confusion.
Release the past and move on.
Ask new questions.”

“Here in this motionless environment
I should rest.
I’ve walked the path unseen
To find the in-between.
And still this river flows,
Painting my reflection in the sky.”

She remained by the river’s edge
And stared so long she’d sear her eyes.
Falling from the physical realm -
Her reflection took form in the shape of thought itself.

“And still this river flows.
Painting a perception in my mind.”

Twisting dreams in the light of day,
Her reality slowly fades.

Images of all that she slaughtered,
flowing out from within,
to form the face of the beast.

“There was never any point in this.
We have always been Nothing
...Reborn into Nothing.”
